From an undergraduate’s experimental sandbox and client studio to a living personal archive powered by AI agents — the journey of pyshen.net over the years.
The Spark at NTU CINC
After taking a Web Programming course in the fall of 2021, I was eager to gain hands-on production experience. However, few companies were willing to hire an inexperienced undergraduate developer. When I saw an opening at the NTU Computer and Information Networking Center (CINC), I applied immediately. Managing campus web services gave me invaluable practical exposure and led me to meet Ryan. We hit it off right away and soon partnered up to take on our first freelance client projects.
The Genesis of Pyshen.net
As I explored the WordPress ecosystem, I established pyshen.net. Coming from pure code, discovering Elementor was pure delight—I could experiment with visually rich widgets and responsive layouts without hand-coding every line of CSS or React component from scratch. The site served as my personal playground and creative sandbox.
Founding Presshian Studio
Ryan and I officially launched Presshian.com, taking on commercial client contracts under our studio banner. Over the following months, we deepened our mastery of the WordPress ecosystem, building tailored solutions and learning how to translate complex client requirements into polished, high-performing websites.
Graduate School & Shifting Focus
In February 2023, I began my Master’s studies in Electrical Engineering (Cybersecurity Group) at National Taiwan University. With intensive lab research in computer vision and deep learning taking priority, my active involvement in web development gradually tapered off, stepping in only occasionally when Ryan needed extra technical assistance.
Graduation & A Living Archive
After earning my Master’s degree from NTU in the summer of 2025, I joined Realtek Semiconductor as a Bluetooth Firmware Engineer. With my professional career taking off in firmware engineering, I fully stepped back from Presshian’s operations. Consequently, pyshen.net transitioned from an agency-era demo showcase into my personal blog and living CV—hosting research surveys, project logs, and career milestones.
The AI Agent Metamorphosis
A major turning point arrived with the rise of autonomous AI coding agents and Elementor MCP integrations, making site maintenance and architectural refactoring extraordinarily fluid. In just one month, the site underwent a complete metamorphosis—establishing a unified Anthropic-inspired design language, a comfortable reading hierarchy, and a richer, well-curated knowledge base.
